Description

Star Wars is not only a phenomenon in the world of movies, but in the ever-growing video game industry as well.

With games dating back to the release of the original three films, it comes as no surprise that, going into the new millennium, there are still many games in development, courtesy of Lucas Arts. Star Wars Demolition gives yet another slant on the series, introducing fans to the world of destructive arts. Bringing the majority of the Star Wars assets together, Demolition allows you to play as some of the most popular characters and machinery from the series.

You can choose from the likes of Rancor, a Desert Skiff, and the abominable AT-ST. Once decided, you can take your chosen character through as many as four game modes, consisting of tournament and high stakes among others. There are eight arenas to battle in, each with their own unique landmark locations, such as the infamous, yet incomplete, Death Star 2.

If you can get to grips with the primarily awkward controls, you will soon uncover what turns out to be an unusually strategic challenge. Get out those laser cannons and proton torpedoes; a war is upon us.
