Description

Major League Baseball 2K11 brings America's national pastime - some say its biggest sporting love - to the console with real-time stats, a story-cum-challenge mode and other additions to 2K Sports' ever-popular baseball title.

First up to the plate are 'Dynamic Player Ratings'. By 'dynamic' 2K means that real-world player MLB statistics are updated daily online and pop up in in the MLB Today, Franchise, and My Player sections of the game.

The My Player mode is where the gamer gets to take a player from the depths of the Minor Leagues up to the big leagues. This mode has been updated since the previous iteration of the game. As has the Fielding System which now comes with improved artificial intelligence alongside better throwing meters and landing indicators that are aimed at making exact and, of course, game-changing fielding more appropriate and efficient for the player's hard-thought field placings.

To keep the game real, the MLB Today area enables the console gamer to keep up-to-date on the latest news in Major League Baseball with play-by-play commentary and stat overlays taken directly from real world news.

Also updated are the player models featuring totally rebuilt player models for Major League players featured in the game. Furthermore, you get the $1 Million Perfect Game Challenge where a gamer can win US$1 million for pitching the perfect game.
