Description

Highlights from United's most successful decade in the club's history. The 1990s was to be payback time for arch rivals Liverpool, who dominated the 1980s. Under their most successful manager Alex Ferguson the team won seven league titles, three FA Cups, the Champion's League and the Cup Winner's Cup. In 1999 they completed the treble (League title, FA Cup and Champion's League). But the team's successes were not just down to the manager, players such as captains Eric Cantona and Roy Keane, Ryan Giggs and Peter Schmeichel were paramount to their success, as well as the introduction of the youth team midway through the decade which included David Beckham, Paul Scholes, the Neville Brothers and Nicky Butt.
