Amy Stokes is no Bridget Jones. There is no ticking biological clock and no desire to exchange her single status for anything more than a quick fling. She is a 39 year old successful business woman, with a close group of friends and no desire to change her life. It takes the death of her beloved dog Germaine - beneath the wheels of her own car - and the wholly unexpected arrival of a baby on her doorstep to force Amy to re-address her priorities.
