The complete first series of the 1960s TV drama set in a busy Soho market and seen by many as a forerunner to the popular soap 'Eastenders'. The regular traders at Honey Lane Market include Jimmy (Jack Bligh), who's worked at a stall in the market for almost his whole life, and widow Polly (Pat Nye), who tries to juggle her fruit stall with keeping an eye on her wayward son. Though four series were made in total only the first, filmed in 1967, has survived intact. The episodes are: 'Nothing's for Nothing', 'Kipper Days', 'Twenty-Two Carat', 'Snap', 'All for One and One for All', 'Hearts and Flowers', 'Moe-Moe's Lucky Day', 'The Outsider', 'The Birds and the Business', 'The Killing', 'One and Nine for Two Bob', 'The Unspeakable Overcoat' and 'Never Feed Vultures'.
