This is the revised edition of a text first published in 1984. The book offers a range of carefully graded practice questions, which are presented in a straightforward manner. Each set of questions is introduced by an explanation, and the first question of every exercise is completed as an example which enables the pupils to attempt the questions without refering to the teacher.
