The Songs: 1. TIME TO KILL (3:57) Charlotte Wrinch © 2004 Take a good look around You can lose yourself in the lost and found Cell phones, lunch, a lonely dirty sock A bunch of smelly shirts, a broken lock. You're moving up in the world Your engines on, your sail's unfurled Just hear your inner voice 'Cause when you're on your own You've got the choice Social studies on the streets And science in the halls The writings is on the walls Mathematics is in the air Bilingual on the box Biological clocks, you've got Time to Kill, and you've got a Brain to fill. Dreaming of kissing in the sand Screaming 'cause they don't understand Wishing for wheels and ways Of winning freedom Everyone's got a fear Of a reptile, or the dark or something queer It's strange the things we dread And how we hide our little fears In our little head. What do I want to say? Don't wanna lecture you, done that today Just be who you are Cause you're neater, cooler, nicer Like that by far Vocals - Charlotte Wrinch BG Vocals - Shael Wrinch, Charlotte Wrinch Electric Guitar - Lorne Baron Acoustic Guitar - Joe Stanton Organ - Shael Wrinch Percussion - Shael Wrinch Drums - John Rule Bass - John Paulin Additional recording by Rod Patten 2. We're moving on, the journey's only just begun Get set, there's still time yet If you're feeling free and fine Follow the yellow line Winding it's way through your world One breath, one mind, one future to find One grin, one grind, you're one of a kind These are the eyes that are smiling for you These are the eyes of a friend These are the hands that applaud from the heart I am with you till the end I am with you till the end Vocals and Guitar - Charlotte Wrinch Electric Guitar - Lorne Baron Strings - Charlotte Wrinch Drums - John Rule Bass - John Paulin 3. HOLD ON (3:14) Charlotte Wrinch © 2005 Can you feel your spirit rising On the crest of your white water? You have spent a long time drifting In the doldrums of your mind Now you've found a teeming vibrance In the beauty of creation And elation for the simple love That surrounds you all the time Hold on, and prepare for a collision Your survival's your decision And your future's your own vision Stand up and hold on Cause you know you've got it in you Every bone and every sinew Hold on Ooh, is this magic, or just another day? Ooh tell me, tell me won't you say? Is this a diamond, or just a lump of clay? You've been warned your risking everything With your silly senseless dreams But imagine what you'd be If you were stripped of all your creativity Cause the queen remains the ruler And the green eye holds it's view And the foolish man remains the fool No matter what you do Hold on, it's not just another fight Now you're lighting up your light And there's no-one wrong or right So, hold on Cause you know you've got it in you Every bone and every sinew Hold on Vocals and Guitar - Charlotte Wrinch BG Vocals - Shael Wrinch, Charlotte Wrinch Electric Guitar - Lorne Baron Acoustic Guitar - Joe Stanton Percussion - Shael Wrinch Drums - John Rule Bass - John Paulin 7. ATTIC OF HELL (3:25) Charlotte Wrinch © 2007 A windy roadway leads you Into a city cool You get a sense of story forming as you Dive into a pool And in among the fishes You're swimming from the south The laws of nature guide you gauging by the Current word of mouth When will the water run away from the window? You know that it's been so swell These last few days have seemed a smidgen static Stuck in the Attic of Hell Now you begin to ponder Upon an inland sea You see a murky fishbowl filled with Economic history You know the Big Fish loves you He'll swim to save the day Then let the ones that aren't worth saving know They'd better learn to pray The sun is slowly rising The band comes marching in And help is on it's way regardless of the Colour of your skin The wind, it whistles "Dixie" Above an ocean tossed And life begins again for everyone Except the ones you've lost When will the water run away from the window? You know that it's been so swell These last few days have seemed a smidgen static Stuck in an Attic of Hell When will the water run away from the window?
