With Burt at the piano, and a full, highly sophisticated orchestra providing beautiful atmosphere, Dionne is in superb voice. Related composers from Carole Bayer Sager to Andre Previn also get attention - as do some songs, like the Carpenters' 'Close to You,' that are associated with other singers. But it always comes back to the winning pairing of Bacharach and Warwick.
