Description

Luigi Comencini directs this Italian drama starring Anthony Quayle, Stefano Colagrande and Simone Giannozzi. The film follows the relationship between widower John Duncombe (Quayle), a British Consul General stationed in Florence, and his sons Andrea (Colagrande) and Milo (Giannozzi). As time passes, John's role in his son's lives begins to change as Andrea, the elder of the brothers, takes on a more paternal role.
