Description

The Overworld is in peril! The piglins are spreading their Nether corruption across the blocky land, and it falls to you, the Hero, to fight back these dark forces and defend the kingdom. Minecraft Legends is an interesting mix of open-world exploration and real-time strategy. It's one of the few strategy game that actually has you running around the map - rather than breezing a cursor around to select units you're right there amongst the fray, interacting with your troops directly to send them to do your bidding. Landscapes are made up of 15 different biomes, but the world is procedurally generated to make each foray into Legends unique. While we've all been knocking around various versions of the world of Minecraft for over a decade now, Legends manages to give its blocky environs new life thanks to some creative lighting and a spot of celshading. There's a day and night cycle that gives Legends its rhythms. By day, you'll attack the piglins in their outposts, attempting to drive them out of the Overworld. After dusk falls, however, it will be their turn to go on the attack and you'll need to defend villages from the dark forces that assail them.
