Monster lives of boys and girls - Henrik Nordbrandt

This new collection of 52 poems, published bilingually in Danish and Englis, reintroduces the noted Danish poet into English, and reveals the clarity and fullness of Henry Nordbrandt's vision. Born in Copenhagen in 1945, Nordbrandt was a sickly child and developed slowly until he was encouraged to attend a school of arts, where he encountered such great teachers as the renowned Danish writer and critic Paul Borum and Denmark's leading poet Inger Christensen. Over the last few years Nordbrandt has come to be recognised as one of the leading European poets.
