Documentary by film-maker Bill Morrison about the Canadian town of Dawson City. Formally known for its discovery of gold in 1896, Dawson City was once again in the news in 1978 when more than 500 silent film reels from the early 1900s were found buried beneath a swimming pool. After extreme restoration to preserve the surviving reels, Morrison pieced together the films to create this documentary.
