Description

Four feature-length crime dramas based on the American detective series starring Angela Lansbury as the mystery writer-turned-sleuth Jessica Fletcher. In 'South By Southwest' (1997) Jessica is attacked on a train when she investigates the case of a missing passenger. In 'A Story to Die For' (2000) Jessica puts her sleuthing skills to work at a writers' conference after a Russian author is found dead. In 'The Last Free Man' (2001) a disturbing link is made between Jessica's family history and the death of a slave in the 1860s. Finally, 'The Celtic Riddle' (2003) finds Jessica travelling to Ireland, where she becomes involved in a clue-driven hunt for secret treasure.
