Millicent, Evie's new secretary, has set a high bar, making the task of hiring a new lady's maid more difficult than it needs to be. Despite doing their best to hurry the process along, Evie and Tom are side-tracked by mysterious goings-on in town. Someone is up to no good. As Evie and Tom follow the trail of clues, they stumble on a plot to ruin a high-ranking member of society. However, offering their assistance could backfire on them.
