Description

Third volume of the Japanese anime series, set in a remote future where humans co-exist with the Haibane, a mysterious race of angelic beings. Rakka, a young girl, finds herself hatching one morning from a giant cocoon. With no memory of her previous life, she struggles to adapt to her new existence as one of the Haibane. In this volume, Rakka struggles to get over the loss of Kuu and develops a deadly illness. While looking after her, Reki discovers that she might not have that long to go as a Haibane. Episodes comprise: 'The Bird', 'Well', 'Rebirth', 'Riddle', 'Kuramori', 'Haibane of Abandoned Factory' and 'Rakka's Job'.
