Description

The complete series of the children's fantasy adventure about a farmer's daughter whose efforts to save her farm are aided by a very famous ancestor. When Bess Throckmorton (Polly Grant) runs into an outlandishly dressed relative, she is taken aback when he claims to be the ghost of Sir Walter Raleigh (Ronald Pickup). After agreeing to take him back to her Devon farm, where he had such happy boyhood memories, events take a magical turn as Sir Walter tries to stop the grasping Borrowbill brothers from taking over the farm.
