US psychological drama written and directed by Christina Choe. The film follows Nancy Freeman (Andrea Riseborough), an eccentric 35-year-old part-time dental nurse who also acts as a carer for her mother Betty (Ann Dowd), who suffers from Parkinson's disease. After seeing a television interview where middle-aged couple Ellen (J. Smith-Cameron) and Leo (Steve Buscemi) talk about their daughter, Brooke, who went missing 20 years before, Nancy becomes convinced that she was kidnapped as a child and contacts the couple claiming to be Brooke. However, things soon become complicated when Ellen and Leo take Nancy into their home, and it's not long before the lines between fantasy and reality become increasingly blurred.
