Pac-Man was one of the first games to nibble its way beyond the arcades to become a household name. In fact, when Pac-Man World saw the little guy also escape into the third dimension, Pac-Man had already been famous for nearly two decades, with his 3D platforming debut giving him a new lease on life. Now, Pac-Man World: Re-Pac gives the circle-turned-sphere yet another moment in the sun, bringing Pac-Man world to a brand new generation of gamers. It sold 1.5 million copies on its first go-around, and with the current 3D platformer revival the game looks set to wow current-gen players. When Pac-Man gets home on his birthday he discovers that those pesky ghosts have kidnapped his friends and family and ruined his party! He sets out to find them all and stop the ghosts, exploring the six areas of Ghost Island and ultimately confronting the ghosts' boss - Toc-Man! As well as chomping, Pac-Man can butt-bounce, rev-roll, hover jump and more, and that's before he even grabs any power-ups! The game has been brought up to date for the current generation, with new looks for Pac-Man and the ghosts, an enhanced user interface, fine-tuned environments and a wider screen. Alongside the 3D platforming, Pac-Man World offers classic Pac-Man dot gobbling in 3D mazes in Maze Mode, as well as the arcade classic that started it all with Original Mode!
