This project integrates economics and business studies at AS and A level. It combines a systematic and analytical approach to business with the applications of a streamlined body of economic theory. An investigative approach is used throughout the resources in order to encourage students to take responsibility for their own learning. Real world problems are examined using the critical insights of both subjects to create an active understanding of the important concepts.;The teacher's resources give advice on how to use the materials. They show how and where to use IT to support the teaching and learning of economics and business. Designed to help teachers to stimulate student's thinking, the resources contain activities to form the core of the classroom experience. These activities are varied in both scope and style: they include data response and problem solving questions, investigations, case studies, business strategy questions, simulations and debates.
