This book deals with the psychological aspects of work from a modern perspective and provides a cross-cultural viewpoint, including European examples, on a subject often dominated by American literature. Although aimed at undergraduates, the approach is slightly more sophisticated than many books in the field and the coverage at every stage includes recent examples from news or current research. As well as the basic areas such as selection, motivation and training, newer topics like gender, stress and work meanings are also covered.
