Description

Of Orcs and Men is a fantasy role-playing game that puts the gamer right bang-smack into the middle of a world at war. From the get-go the game pits wits and guts with calls for courage and quick thinking.

The game is from developer Cyanide, which also worked on the Game of Thrones videogame as well as Blood Bowl and Impire.

The Empire of Men is threatening the territories of the Orcs and the Goblins in fairly horrible ways: Goblins are systematically persecuted and then slaughtered where they stand. For their part, the Orcs who are not killed in battle are captured and enslaved.

In a switch on the usual 'evil orc versus nice human' theme, the gamer must, in the role of an elite Orc soldier of the legendary legion of Bloodjaws, put a stop to all this terror. They must complete the quest set by the Orc commander: to kill one man, the one man responsible for the war of Man on Orc (and Goblin) - the Emperor himself.

The player is joined by a dark and sneaky goblin assassin as they quest from filthy alleys at the foot of the Great Wall to the depths of the Empire of Men, meeting Wizards, fighting the assassins and soldiers of the Empire of Men... and attempting not the be destroyed by the powerful Sisters of Laments.
