Description

The story of how a small, independent outfit forged the development of professional wrestling in the

United States. The Organisation of Modern Extreme Grappling Arts (Omega) was founded in 1997 by brothers Matt and Jeff Hardy. Originally operating on a shoestring, even to the extent that Matt sewed all of the costumes worn at the events, the operation grew rapidly and dramatically changed the way wrestling was presented to the public. Incorporating high flying wrestling, hardcore, and gimmick matches into their presentations, Omega was eventually incorporated into the then rapidly expanding World Wrestling Federation in 1999. The featured wrestlers include Shannon Moore, Shane Helms, Joey 'Mercury' Matthews, Christian York, and Matt and Jeff Hardy.
