"Write On" is a writing skills book for pre-intermediate students. Covering both general problem areas and a range of useful text styles, the material is designed to develop students' ability to write effectively for different purposes. Each unit uses process techniques of editing and revising to build up students' confidence to experiment with a variety of writing skills.;Write On includes the following special features:;1 - A selection of text types and written styles, including postcards and small ads, instructions, persuasive writing narrative and composition.;2 - Practice in writing skills relevant to students' immediate needs as well as ground work for more advanced level writing, providing useful preparation for a range of EFL exams (e.g. ARELS, COCO/FCE);3 - Discussion and analysis activities in each unit, leading to follow-up writing tasks;4 - An exensive key, including model texts which enable students to systematically asses and improve their own writing.
