Packing Mrs. Phipps - Anne Seale

Jo Jacuzzo accepts a job to accompany heiress Charity Redmunn from Buffalo to Tampa and back, to transport an elderly lady, Mrs. Phipps, and her belongings. However it soon becomes clear to Jo that there is much more to this trip than Charity at first let on. She is in fact driving across country with a load of stolen art to pay the ransom of her brother Paul, who is being held by loan sharks. When Charity is murdered, Jo discovers the surprising contents of Charity's will, and begins to unravel the mystery, but the killer has one last, horrible ace up his sleeve.
