From his working class background in lowly Woking and parents who encouraged him to make something of himself, his work ethic carried him through three careers so far: The Jam, The Style Council and into finally his solo career, starting in 1992. This documentary features commentary from some of the vast array of artists influenced by 'The Modfather' as well as industry figures, band members, his friends and family. Also features live clips and interviews with the artist himself.
