All 18 episodes from the first three series of the Australian drama based on the 2013 film and starring Aaron Pederson as rebellious aboriginal detective Jay Swan. In the first series, Jay is called to a remote cattle town in the Australian outback to assist with the investigation into the disappearance of two young men. However, Jay's forthright manner and unorthodox methods cause upset within the local community and local officer Emma James (Judy Davis) finds herself often playing the role of a mediator. Meanwhile, events in Jay's personal life threaten to impact his efficiency of successfully solving the case. In the second series, Jay is brought to another remote town where a decapitated body has been found. He partners with local officer Fran (Jada Alberts) and their leads bring them to an archaeological dig and the possibility of a wide-reaching drug trafficking operation. The third series serves as a prequel to the first two series. Set in 1999, a young Jay Swan (Mark Coles Smith) returns to his hometown of Jardine to join the police force. While investigating a series of robberies, he must also contend with his estranged father, Jack (Kelton Pell), and his growing feelings for Mary Allen (Tuuli Narkle).
