The majority of this collection of tunes has been in Garry's family for generations, unrecorded until now. There are two recent compositions 'Dancing with Movita' and the song 'Purple Lady' both written and composed by Garry. The album is free from technical wizardry allowing the music to shine through naturally. Rather the wizadry comes from the tunes themselves and the soulful playing of the musicians. Garry is accompanied by his friends, Marie Breatnach, Fiddle and Viola, Colm Murphy, Bodhran, Jim Murray, Guitars, Cyril O'Donoghue, Bouzouki and Garvan Gallagher on double bass.
