This new series of books provides ready-made collections of early years stories, rhymes and information text all based around popular themes. The Books are more than just anthologies, however, as each poem, story or rhyme is photocopiable and is accompanied by by activity ideas showing how it can be used as a springboard for activities across the curriculam. All the ideas are carefully linked to the requirements of the new Early Learning Goals. The books also include photocopiable templates and activity sheets. Thematerial in the books is all new (with the exception of traditonal rhymes and stories). The Places around us book will help young children to be introduced to the wider world around them.
