Description

The latest entry in the Pokemon Legends series-within-a-series pushes the Pokemon formula further than ever, all the while still feeling like a Pokemon game through and through. You arrive in Lumiose City, a Paris-inspired metropolis going through an ambitious redevelopment to allow humans and pokemon to live in peace. While you were thinking of a quiet getaway, however, you're quickly recruited into a team of trainers and set up with either Chikorita, Tepig or Totodile to get you going. Together, you'll explore both the city and the Wild Zones, where you'll encounter wild pokemon. To capture them, snag them with a well aimed throw of your poke ball or take them on with the pokemon on your team. Things get a bit fresh when you get into battle, though. For the first time, fights take place in real time and timing becomes an essential part of the equation. Beyond type match-ups, you'll need to consider things such as the precise timing for swapping out pokemon or deploying moves, chewing on factors such as the time they take to launch and their area of effect. It adds a whole new dimension to play, shaking things up in a major way. There's also the next stage of Evolution - Mega Evolution! When your Key Stone resonates with your pokemon's Mega Stone you can do more than just beef up - you can unlock a whole new level of power that could turn the tide of battle!
