Description

Highlights of the British Lions' 1971 2-1 Test triumph over the New Zealand All Blacks. Captain John Dawes, coach Carwyn James and manager Doug Smith led the Lions Test side to victory. The challenging 1974 Tour in South Africa is also covered. With Apartheid at its height and the Springboks never having lost a series at home, the Lions went undefeated, winning 21 of 22 matches and finishing the final match with a controversial draw. Interviews with players taken during the Tour and also at subsequent reunions are also included.
