It looks at the way prisoners of war and internment camps were run by the British and briefly, at the desperate plight of prisoners in other parts of the world - the Far East and the Eastern Front. Finally, it describes the re-education of the German prisoners and their feelings towards the British when they were eventually released, many months after the war had ended.
