Description

Documentary look at the UK Psychobilly movement of the mid '80s including interviews with former band members and archive footage. In the mid to late '80s, a mad fusion of hard necked '70s punk and red hot '50s rockabilly was born in the swamps of southern Britain. Razor sharp quiffs replaced the quaint pomps of the fifties, creeper soled shoes got a few inches higher, bleach was splashed on perfectly good jeans and a generation of kids felt they should have been born earlier - though they weren't sure which era to choose. Interviews with ex members of The Meteors, The Sharks, Restless, The Caravans, Frenzy, Batmobile and a host of other Klub Foot regulars probe deeper into the phenomenon and regale us with backstage stories.
