'Pylon Box' includes the studio albums 'Gyrate' and 'Chomp', fully remastered, 'Extra; which is a collection of singles, B-sides, rarities and live recordings and 'Razz Tape' which is the band's first ever recording, featuring a 13-song unreleased session that predates their 1979 debut single, 'Cool'/'Dub'. The set also concludes with an autographed 200-page hardbound book, featuring a treasure trove of never before seen images and artifacts from the band's personal archives and writings from other musicians. In the late 1970's Athens, Georgia was buzzing with a raw but sophisticated music scene. Traditional southern rock had been the Georgia musical export for years before but the turn of the decade began producing new sounds from bands like the B-52's, REM and alt rock luminaries, Pylon. 'Chomp' was the band's second album and was originally released in 1983.
