Description

Documentary focusing on the return of Jaguar to Le Mans in the 1980s. After building a historic pedigree at the circuit during the 1950s, Jaguar withdraw from the race during the late 1960s and 1970s, when the dominance of purpose-built sportscars become the norm. But in 1984, two cars, American-built and based around the Jaguar V12 engine, were entered, although neither finished the race. After their success in the European Touring Car Championship, the TWR Racing Team were asked to design a sports car for Jaguar capable of winning Le Mans, duly restoring Jaguar to winning ways in 1988.
