Description

'Battle of the Beams' examines the German bombing campaign in Britain, and the advanced technology that made more accurate bombing possible. When the British acquired this technology, it opened up a race with the Germans to perfect bombing techniques. 'Spies in the Sky' looks at the history of aerial espionage, from the Great War to the advanced stealth spy planes of the present day. 'The Wooden Wonder' is a tribute to the Mosquito fighter bomber, the fastest aircraft of the Second World War, used in a variety of reconnaisance and offensive roles.
