Red Hunter's Moon - MR Duncan S Robb

When Joe Rolf is falsely accused of murder, he is arrested but then on the way to court, his prison van is attacked and he escapes. Chased through the English countryside by police and assassins alike he is forced to give up society, living alone and away from the world he once knew. Retreating to a cave in the South of England he found as a child, he lives by a mix of caution and cunning until he is eventually forced to return and clear his name, but not all is as it seems and the hunted becomes the hunter.
