Feature-length documentary about one of country music's most influential performers. Born and raised in Texas, Jim Reeves quickly rose to fame in the 1950s with the hits 'Mexican Joe' and 'Bimbo', earning himself a place in the Country Music Hall of Fame. In July 1964, while piloting his private plane, Reeves lost control in a storm and crashed, killing all on board. Looking back over his career and life that was abruptly cut short, this documentary features clips of performances as well as interviews with family, friends and fellow musicians.
