New York audiences have always been partial to the Clancy Brothers' music, if only because there are so many immigrants - and their descendants - living on the Island City. This concert at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Centre captures the synergy between the Clancys and their adoring fans: fans they garnered through constant dedication to spreading the Irish Gospel. 'Reunion' highlights include the boisterous working-man's song 'Haul Away Joe', the great drinking song 'Jug of Punch', and the beautiful love song 'Will You Go Lassie Go'. Perhaps the concert's high point, however, is 'Holy Ground', a romping march heightened by the audience's joyous clapping.
