Collection of three dramas from film-maker George A. Romero. 'There's Always Vanilla' (1971) follows former soldier Chris Bradley (Raymond Laine) as he returns home to Pittsburgh to visit his father. While there he meets local girl Lynn (Judith Ridley) and the pair soon move in together. However, with Chris unable to decide what he wants to do with his life their relationship soon runs into trouble. In 'Season of the Witch' (1972) unhappy housewife Joan Mitchell (Jan White) seeks help from a local witch after her husband begins abusing her. After casting a spell to make her daughter's boyfriend attracted to her, Joan's world continues to change as she gets drawn further into the world of the dark arts. Finally, in 'The Crazies' (1973) the inhabitants of Evans City, Pennsylvania become infected by a mysterious virus after material from an untested biological weapon seeps into the town's water supply. With the victims transforming into mindless killers and the army instructed to shoot to kill, local firefighter David (Will MacMillan) and his girlfriend Judy (Lane Carroll) are forced to go to extreme lengths in order to escape the chaos.
