Description

Two special episodes of the classic drama series including the first ever episode. The first episode, 'Play For Today', finds Rumpole having to fight the case of a young lad accused of stabbing a man in a bus queue outside Lord's Cricket Ground. While in 'Rumpole's Return' Rumpole has retired from law after losing ten cases in a row. When he receives a letter from Phyllida asking for his help, and sees it as an invitation to return to Chambers, it is apparent that the other members are not so happy to see him return.
