Description

Collection of films starring Adam Sandler. 'Grown Ups' (2010) is a comedy centred on the reunion of five former school friends. 30 years after graduating from high school, five former basketball teammates - Lenny (Sandler), Eric (Kevin James), Kurt (Chris Rock), Marcus (David Spade) and Rob (Rob Schneider) - gather for the funeral of their late coach at the same lakeside house where they celebrated a championship victory many years before. As the weekend goes on, the friends come to realise that just because they have all grown older doesn't necessarily mean that they have to grow up. In 'You Don't Mess With the Zohan' (2008) Sandler stars as Zohan Dvir, an Israeli Special Forces soldier who fakes his own death so he can reinvent himself as a hairdresser in New York. He throws himself into his new identity with admirable gusto, romancing his clients by performing special services in the back room - but is eventually recognised and must face losing his newfound life and career. In 'Click' (2006) Michael Newman (Sandler) is married to the beautiful Donna (Kate Beckinsale) with two children, Ben (Joseph Castanon) and Samantha (Tatum McCann). But Michael doesn't get to see his children much because of the long hours he works at his architectural firm, in the elusive hope that his ungrateful boss (David Hasselhoff) will one day recognise his invaluable contribution and make him a partner. When a frustrating bout with the television remote leads the overworked husband and father to a nearby store in search of a universal remote with the power to control all of his electronic devices, a curious peek into the back room leads Michael into the company of eccentric employee and talented inventor Morty (Christopher Walken). It seems that Morty has created a device that will not only allow Michael complete control over his television and stereo, but his entire life. Finally, in 'Just Go With It' (2011), Sandler stars as Danny, a man who has long relied on a cheap but surprisingly effective trick to entice women into no-strings-attached, short-term flings: he wears a gold ring and pretends to be unhappily married. But something is different when he meets Palmer (Decker), who is appalled to discover that Danny is allegedly married. Before long, Danny is pleading with his colleague Katherine (Aniston) to do him a very unusual favour...
