The far northern climes of Scotland have a name that brings to mind an enthralling history, adventure and excitement, wild mountains and romantic glens, red deer in the forests and golden eageles on the wing.

But there is far more to the Highlands of Scotland than that. it's a land of dominated by sea, rugged terrain... and weather!

So, as well as seeing one of the united Kingdom's only resident colonies of dolphins, the highlands also boasts an increasing number of wind farms.

Today, the highlands of Scotland sends exports accross the world. She has also sent many of her people abroad too. Many people from countries like Australia, America and Canada can trace their family roots back to Scotland.
