Description

Search And Rescue 4 is first and foremost a helicopter simulation and the gameplay is based on the flight itself. For the first-time player this will prove to be quite a challenge as the helicopter will respond to the slightest move you make, the wind blowing, the environment changing etc. Simple maneuvers like flying forward or just hovering in the air can be quite difficult and will take time to master. Your missions will always involve some manner of rescue operation, but lots of different factors will have an influence on the outcome and you will have to deal with these along the way; weight problems, fuel capacity (also influencing weight), rescue procedures, weather vs. engine problems, injury assessment and much more. All this will add to the tactics of the game, letting you immerse yourself deeper into the role of the USCG pilot. In Search And Rescue 4 all this is taken to a new level. The player will no longer just be the pilot, but take part in the planning and lay down the strategy for the rescue operation. This will increase the risk of failure, but definitely also add to the challenge of completing a mission.
