Documentary about the Yorkshire town of Hebden Bridge. With a reputation for being something of an alternative and
bohemian enclave, the town is described wryly by one of the film's contributors as 'a drug town with a tourist problem'. Director Jez Lewis, who grew up in Hebden, looks beyond the colourful shopfronts and buzzing cafes on the town's high street to probe into the lives of his former classmates, many of whom hail from the town's less conspicuous underclass in which problems such as depression, drink and drug problems and suicide are rife.
