Sheltie by the sea - Peter Clover

Emma is looking forward to a holiday in Clifftop Cottage at Summerland Bay, but instead they have to stay at The Golden Anchor, an old smugglers' inn on the beach. Emma and Sheltie's friend Mary, who runs an animal hospital, is pleased to see them but she is having financial problems and the hospital needs repairing. Emma comes up with a fund-raising plan but Sheltie saves the day by finding a rusty old anchor that turns out to be solid gold. The anchor is from the legendary pirate ship, The Golden Dolphin, and the reward for its discovery helps with Mary's hospital repairs. More trouble follows when an outbuilding collapses on Mary, and Sheltie and Emma must come to the rescue again.
