After coming face-to-face with the mythical Cthulhu in his previous adventure on PC ("The Awakened"), Sherlock Holmes confronts Ars�ne Lupin, the gentleman-burglar made famous by the literature series penned by French writer Maurice Leblanc. Ars�ne Lupin, whose exploits are enjoyed by millions of readers throughout the world, provides the perfect foil for Holmes as he attempts to pull of the ultimate heist. This battle of wits between the most famous detective of all time and the world's greatest thief takes us to late 19th century London. Ars�ne Lupin is a young French burglar at the beginning of a glittering career, who comes to town with one goal - defy Scotland Yard and Sherlock Holmes. He states that he will steal five objects of immense value in five days from prestigious sites such as the National Gallery, the British Museum, the Tower of London and even Buckingham Palace! Sherlock Holmes must use all his daring and ingenuity to avoid a terrible humiliation for England. Throughout the game, you will encounter more than 40 typical characters from the Victorian era with whom you are free to interact, while uncovering hundreds of clues and objects which you will need to use and combine to complete your investigation successfully. Sherlock Holmes versus Ars�ne Lupin continues the already highly accomplished gameplay of its predecessor, including a first-person view of an adventure which is very often played in the third person. It is technically accessible to medium hardware configurations, and features attractive dynamic lighting of the 3D reproductions which are an integral part to solving many of the game's riddles This new Sherlock Holmes adventure is also a deep mine of information and cultural references of all kinds, all of which are appropriately scattered amongst all the authentic settings where the story takes place. The handy game history lets you remind yourself at any time of the number of documents found, statements taken or events punctuating the story. Maybe you will manage to reweave the links between the precious clues left by Lupin.
