Shipwrecks of the Isle of Man - Adrian Corkill

This book looks at a selection of 85 wreck sites around the Isle of Man (wrecks far from the shore or too deep for the sports diver are excluded). Each entry gives an extensive description of the wreck site with any special features for a diver to note. A detailed account of the history of each shipwreck (together with photographs, diagrams or newspaper headlines, where available) is also provided, along with technical data on each vessel as she existed prior to her loss. A separate section will give valuable information for the diver on how to access sites etc. It is anticipated that several maps of the location of the wrecks sites can be included. A well-researched text, Shipwrecks of the Isle of Man will appeal to those interested in the shipwreck sites around the Isle of Man, primarily scuba divers and anglers, as well as readers with interests in local and/or maritime history.
