Description

One of the most predictable things in the videogame industry is its tendency to recreate big screen classics for avid cinema goers and gamers alike. There have been numerous Bond games and Disney games to name but a few, and now it's the turn of Dreamworks' Sinbad.

Legend of the Seven Seas follows the plot of the film closely, and has players engaging in engrossing gameplay in a genuinely captivating adventure. As Sinbad, supposedly the most daring and notorious rogue ever to sail the seas, players will journey on an epic adventure to retrieve the fabled Book of Peace and save the life of his best friend, Proteus.

The game itself pits players in five dramatic and familiar locations from the film in a typical 3D outing, complete with myriad enemies, end-of-level bosses and special attacks. These skeleton-populated locales also play host to numerous power ups that will help players no end, and can even give Sinbad the ability to summon an army of skeletons to fight by his side.

A game targeted largely towards younger gamers, Sinbad also boasts an intuitive control system that sees players getting to grips with the infamous pirate with little effort. Sinbad moves in a fluid motion, similar to the way he's animated in the film and, combined with convincing cartoon-like environments, the game makes for a thoroughly immersive experience.
