Someone else - Tonino Benacquista

Both in their forties, Thierry and Nicolas are introduced at their tennis club where they play a few sets and have a drink. They soon conclude that it is time to change their lives and decide to meet again in three years time to see whose transformation is the more radical. Thierry is a picture framer with a steady clientele, but he has always wanted to be a private investigator. Nicolas is a shy teetotal executive in a large company trying not to fall off the corporate ladder. As always with Benacquista this is a page turner with a filmic plot and totally engaging.
