Sonny Terry started playing the harp in his teens, as a blind street musician in North Carolina. When he was 23 he made his recording debut, backing up popular ragtime singer/guitarist Blind Boy Fuller. Less than a year later, he was wowing New York audiences at Carnegie Hall. When he died in 1986, he left behind many recordings and numerous fans. This is a collection of his best songs.
